Due Date and Smart Values.
Dikla Tavor Haimpur, our Innovation and Business Operations Manager has to manage very strict due dates and wishes to easily automate them in Jira
Thanks to Lior Swisa, our Atlassian expert, we can share the solution with you! Check out our new video and find out how to set the due date on your Jira tasks.
So… what’s your issue?

Go to automation (The lightning icon on the right 😊)
Select “New transition”
Change your Status: From “To do” to “In progress”
Create a New condition, for story issue type
Edit issue: due date field
For the due date selected, log the following Smart Value: {{now.plusDays(X)}}
Save and activate your automation, and you’re done!
